COAXIAL Cable & CCTV Surge Protectors
The GATEKEEPER range of Coaxial Surge Protectors (GKCP) contain a high-speed gas filled surge arrestors which clamp the over voltage limiting the residual voltage for fast rise time transients. The use of low capacitance gas filled arrestors ensures operation at high frequencies with low insertion loss. The GKCP is available in either an inline or bulkhead configuration with the appropriate connectors on each end. The device is designed to minimise circuit capacitance and present a 50 or 75-ohm impedance so that performance up to 2.1 GHz is assured.

Installation
Connect the inline protector as close as possible to the equipment being protected. It is extremely important that the coaxial sheaths are earthed at the building point of entry. The preferred method of installation for the bulkhead models is at the point of entry of the building of the cable. The bulkhead mount allows a secure earth connection to the cable entry plate.
