GKSF SINGLE PHASE SURGE FILTER
Product Description
The GATEKEEPER GKSF filter is a multimode (LN-LE-NE) protected device housed in a DIN compliant full metal jacket enclosure. The device has detachable terminals for ease of installation and replacement should the unit do its job and expire. The GATEKEEPER GKSF has been designed to be fail-safe incorporating internal over voltage and thermal fusing.
Applications
Surge filters are used as part of a co-ordinated, lightning protection system. The main advantage of a SPD with filtering is that it reduces the maximum dv/dt that is let-through from the output of the filter. Rapid changes in the voltage supply (dv/dt) to equipment can be reduced by using SPDs with filters. Typical applications include the protection of computing equipment, telecommunications systems and sensitive electronic equipment.
