The test procedure is based on a vacuum filtration device, which filters insoluble particles with a molecular filter out of solutions. Possible insoluble or metal particles are deposited on the filter and could be examined visually. It is possible to determine the quantity, the size and actually the reason for the pollution with a micro loupe (30 respectively 100-times magnified).
Friction at pistons, pumps, etc. could be recognized in time and repairing or maintenance could be done promptly to avoid damages.
