The JUNG CHECK Falling Ball Viscosimeter consists of a calibrated metal tube, in which the falling time of a metal ball is proportionate to the viscosity of the filled liquid.
This easy measuring method allows the user a quick determination of the viscosity both at the engine and in the workshop or in a laboratory.

Total measuring range is covered by using three balls with different calibres:
Standard ball - 60 mm²/s (1s = 1,0 mm²/s)
Complementary ball - 270 mm²/s (1s = 4,5 mm²/s)
Complementary ball - 1000 mm²/s (1s = 65,0 mm²/s)
This corresponding falling time is based on a density of 0,9875 g/ml. and is applicable with oils having a viscosity more than 10 mm²/s. When the viscosity differs the provided formula could used to for calculation.
