The IMO legislation and MEPC.96(47) guideline demand that ship operators comply with strict regulations concerning emissions which includes the collection, retention and storage of bunker fuel oil samples. The MT SAMPLE RETENTION SYSTEM enables with its manifold equipment, shipboard staff to follow the rules in a safe and efficient manner.

Sampler and Cubitainer are fitted with a seal to prevent tampering during the sampling (MEPC.96(47)). This method does not restrict the manual valve operation and ensures that the valve is operable throughout the bunkering period enabling adjustment to control the flow to the primary sample as required.

20 wide neck sample bottles (1l) complete with numbered seals and suitable labels
5 Cubitainer complete with numbered seals

2 Pairs of oil resistant gloves plus safety glasses and 5 oil absorbing mats
