The R&D team is an experienced and dynamic group of professionals that allows Nethix to offer consultancy services at 360°. It follows the customer from the conceptual idea to the manufacturing process of new and state-of-the-art products and solutions.
Since all products offered are designed, developed and manufactured by Nethix in Italy, the R&D team is capable of customize any of them according to the customer's needs or create completely new solutions from the ground-up.

Software Development
Software development is one of the main activities at Nethix. The R&D team designs and develops: - Real time and Embedded control systems - Data and Telecommunication systems - Web services and apps for remote monitoring and control - Client/Server applications The team uses software modelling tools such as UML and development methods such as Agile for the systems design and development. The programming languages used for developing embedded system is C and C++, whilst for the web services and apps are used PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, Objective C and Java. The platforms and technologies used for designing and developing projects are based on Free and Open Source Software that is widely tested and robust such as the Linux Operating System. More than 10 years of experience allows the team to work fluently with several processor architectures such as ARM, MIPS, SH4 and x86 built by the most widely spread chip makers such as Atmel, Fujitsu, Hitachi, STM, Motorola, Microchip and Intel. Every project is released to the client with full documentation and optionally with source code. |
