Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank
Ultrasonic cleaning uses an ultrasound cleaning tank and a cleaning solvent to clean different types of objects. It operates on the principle ofcavitation bubbles beinginduced by high frequency pressure (sound) waves to agitate a liquid. This agitation removes different, difficult to remove, substances adhering to surfaces. It is also able to penetrate cracks and crevices, thereby removing all contamination.
BESST Engineering provides the U-Sonic generator from Martechnic, used to generate the necessary energy. Ultrasonic needs a solvent to do the job properly. Apart from the ultrasonic cleaning tank, an effective multipurpose cleaner is needed. Envirosonic is a tested cleaning liquid that is effective as well as protective. It intensifies the cleaning effect and is completely safe for the equipment being cleaned.
Type 380 to 2500
Piezo-electronic ultrasonic devices create high-frequency sound waves, which release mechanical energy in the cleaning solution, a so called „push-pull” effect on the surface of the items to be cleaned. This Cavitation-effect produces vacuum bubbles which implode on the surface of the items. During the implements stay undamaged, the deposit and dirt is thoroughly removed – also at difficult accessibly areas.

The Ultrasonic Cleaning Tanks are suitable for cleaning parts from diesel and gas engines such as MTU, Wartsila, MAN, Mirrlees, Mirrlees Blackstone, Pielstick, MaK, Kawasaki, Niigata, Cummins, Jenbacher, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi and Caterpillar. They are also suitable for cleaning parts from gas turbines such as GE, Solar and Siemens turbines.
