The VISCO CYLINDER consists of a metal tube, which is closed by two transparent discs on both sides and stands on a plastic rack on a mirror. The determination of the time the ball needs to fall inside the metal tube provides information about the viscosity. Therefore the metal tube is completely filled with oil, turned over and placed on the mirror surface. The falling-time of the ball stands in direct relation to the viscosity of the liquid. For determine the lower viscosity for mineral- or gasoil the Viscometer LOWVIS should be use; for all other oils please use the STANDARD version
